About the Course
In partnership with Marts&Lundy and Maia McGill, Consulting Partner and Founder of the Inclusive Philanthropy Institute, the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy is pleased to host a three-week virtual webinar tailored for mission-driven institutions committed to addressing systemic inequities within fundraising.
This series will equip healthcare fundraisers with the necessary tools to navigate the unique challenges of behavioral health fundraising and philanthropy. Learners will explore how systemic biases and stigmas influence fundraising outcomes; learn strategies to integrate inclusive philanthropy principles into their work; and implement best practices to address biases in donor cultivation, storytelling, and fundraising strategies, ensuring that behavioral health initiatives receive equitable support.
The series includes:
- Live webinars with expert facilitators
- Completion of one homework assignment. While completion of the homework assignment is not mandatory, it is highly encouraged, as it is a valuable opportunity to integrate best practices and apply course concepts to your work.
- Learners should plan to invest a total of 4-6 hours per week over the duration of the course.
- All modules are recorded should you miss a date.
