This new course is designed for chief executives and marketing leaders at hospital foundations who are seeking to refine their organization's identity and narrative. Over three weeks, this interactive program will guide you through the process of uncovering your foundation’s unique voice, aligning it with your mission, and crafting compelling stories that resonate with stakeholders. Through expert guidance, strategic insights, and actionable strategies, you will learn how to effectively communicate your foundation’s impact, foster deeper connections with donors, and strengthen your overall brand presence.

Session Descriptions
February 19
Empower Your Unique Philanthropy Voice
What sets you apart from other nonprofits? How is your message different than how hospital Marketing communicates? How can you deliver compelling, memorable and consistent messaging that your board, donors and clinician partners love? This session will introduce how philanthropy leaders can workshop a custom solution, create a lead voice and deliver a message guide for your team and communication vendors to rally behind.
February 26
Communication Strategies for Every Stage of Your Campaign
Every stage of your campaign requires a nuanced approach to communications, with a growing number of decisions to make. How do you maintain urgency while celebrating successes? What’s the right balance between stewardship and pipeline? How do you maintain momentum and partnership while avoiding burnout? We will explore how to communicate with delight and a sense of the unexpected, how to work in sync with Marketing and how to utilize communication to deliver amazing donor experiences – all while staying on budget.
March 6
Grateful Communication and Storytelling
While gratitude opens doors and builds relationships, it can also be a fragile bond that if not maintained properly can be easily broken. In this session, learn how to create a gratitude strategy that goes beyond care experiences to showcase the transformative power of giving. You will discover how to identify, shape, and prioritize impactful stories that resonate with donors, build a gratitude-centered brand, and position your foundation’s team and supporters as heroes in the healthcare journey.
