We are now accepting articles for AHP's thought leadership series, Forward Thinking.

AHP invites you to be part of Forward Thinking, our thought leadership series designed to showcase the insights, expertise, and stories of healthcare philanthropy professionals like you.   

This platform offers an opportunity for you to contribute long-form articles (1,000-3,000 words) that explore emerging trends, innovative strategies, and impactful solutions in our field. Your voice could help shape the future of healthcare philanthropy while inspiring peers across the industry. 

Who Can Submit? 

All healthcare philanthropy professionals are welcome to contribute. You do not need to be an AHP member. Co-authored articles are encouraged.

What We're Looking For

  • Original articles (1,000-3,000 words) 
  • Topics relevant to healthcare philanthropy, such as donor engagement strategies, case studies with measurable outcomes, and/or research or insights shaping the future of philanthropy

Style

AP style for writing; Chicago style for endnotes

Visuals

High-resolution images or charts (PNG format preferred)

What We Don’t Accept

The Review Process   

Submissions are peer-reviewed on a rolling basis for relevance, storytelling, and quality.   

How to Submit

  1. Prepare your article in Word or Google Doc format.
  2. Include high-resolution visuals, if applicable.
  3. Email us at communications@ahp.org with your contact information.
