With a BA from Davidson College and an MBA from Eastern Washington University, Emily's CFRE certification underscores her dedication to advancing healthcare philanthropy.

After several years in higher education philanthropy, I was ready to move into a different industry. I found that through healthcare philanthropy the work I did could have an impact on everyone in the community.

I believe that improving human health is essential to a thriving community, and it's a privilege to work with philanthropists who want to support their communities through healthcare.

Pursuing and earning my CFRE allowed me to see the long-term path that a career in philanthropy would allow me to follow and grow in.

Since becoming a parent, I have a strong passion for protecting our children and helping them thrive.

Securing the visit is the hardest part. Once you've done that, it's a true pleasure to get to know donors and invite them to become part of something big and important.
