• Bachelor’s degree in related field (Master’s preferred)
• Experience in soliciting gifts and supervising, managing, leading fundraising, and development related activities
• 6-8 years’ related experience
• Proven leadership skills, demonstrated success in face-t0-face solicitation
• Solid judgment and mentoring abilities

• Develop, plan, design and implement fundraising programs
• Lead and coordinate key strategic development and functional services to support Foundation objectives and organizational goals
• Manage department finances, including budgeting and control of expenses
• Manage professional and clerical staff
• Maintain effective and responsive relationships with volunteers, medical staff, Inova leadership and other departments and facilities
