A degree or diploma from a recognized post secondary institution; 3-4 years experience in fundraising, preferably with an organization of similar scope; specialized knowledge in the area of major gift fundraising and campaigns;Knowledge of Raiser's Edeg is required |

Responsibilities: |
|
Reporting to the Campaign Director/Senior Director,
Development-Vancouver Island, this role will identify, cultivate,
solicit and steward major gifts prospects and donors. This role will
help develop and implement
a plan with measurable outcomes for the consistent, strategic
solicitation of major gift prospects. This
role will manage a portfolio of major gift ($10,000+) prospects,
developing customized strategies for donor and prospect identification,
review and evaluation, with a focus on a special campaign initiative.
The role will also establish and maintain professional
and productive work relationships with volunteers, BC Cancer Agency
physicians, clinicians and researchers. |
