Reporting to the Managing Director, Campaigns, the Campaign Director, Schulich Heart Centre & Neurosciences Program will be responsible for managing two key campaign portfolios with a fundraising goal of $52M.   Working successfully with a wide range of stakeholders, volunteers, donors and hospital staff, is a critical part of this role.  Currently, you possess a minimum of five years of fundraising experience with at least three years in a major gift capacity, closing gifts of over $100k.  Whether you have worked in a small or large organization, you have managed the donor cycle from cultivation to donation.  Intelligence, motivation and insightfulness are a few key attributes important in the role, as is the ability to work independently and as a team, in a goal-oriented environment.

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is a premier academic health sciences centre providing extraordinary care with over one million patient visits per year. The Schulich Heart Centre is one of the largest cardiac care centers in Ontario with over 6,500 surgical, catheterization, angioplasty and pacemaker cases annually.  The Neurosciences Program at Sunnybrook aims to transform their understanding and management of disorders of the brain and mind.  Sunnybrook Foundation has raised over 60% of their $300M capital campaign goal.  With this successful track record and ambitious goals ahead, the Foundation is growing their staff team in order to continue to be leaders in Canadian health care philanthropy.
