Requirements: |

Bachelor’s degree required. Journalism, public relations or communications major preferred, and/or three years fundraising or public relations experience. Incumbent must have excellent interpersonal skills, exceptional leadership and organizational abilities, strong oral and written presentation skills and an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work independently. Knowledge of cause-related marketing helpful. Excellent computer proficiency required. A valid driver’s license is required. |

Responsible for assisting in development of fund-raising strategies for St. John’s Children’s Hospital/CMN as well as facilitating national and local corporate sponsor relationships. Responsible for leading specific CH/CMN special events, including but not limited to Radiothon(s), Dance Marathon, American Girl Fashion Show and CH Golf Challenge. Responsibilities also include writing for gift acknowledgments and thanks, newsletters, brochures, gift solicitations, making personal contacts with donors and volunteers and leading a variety of special event activities. |
